■Character Introduction
Negi Springfield
Originally from Wales, England.
After graduating from the Meldiana Magic Academy at the top of his class, he was ordered to become a teacher in Japan as part of his training to become a fine wizard, a Magister Magi, and was assigned to the Junior High School department of Mahora Academy.
He is good at controlling the wind, but can also use a variety of other magic, such as erasing memory and removing fatigue.
He is currently living with Asuna and Kinoka in the girls' dormitory.
He doesn't like to bath and especially hates washing his head.
Asuna Kagurazaka
She possesses an insane amount of stamina and has excellent physical abilities. She is fast enough to escape Negi's flying wand (which is as fast as a car) and is said to be "as fast as a kappa" when swimming.
She has no family, so she attends school while working part-time as a newspaper delivery man to cover her living expenses and tuition.
She likes mature older men and says that she "hates kids," but because she can't leave them alone, she has been looking after Negi ever since he was assigned to the school.
She is one of the Baka Rangers (Baka Red), a group with the lowest grades in Class 3-A, and has the lowest grades in her class.
Konoka Konoe
Her grandfather is the principal of Mahora Academy, and her father is the head of the Kansai Magic Association, making her the wealthiest woman in the magical world, but she grew up without knowing about magic.
She is Asuna and Negi's roommate, and she loves Negi like a younger brother, taking care of him every day by cooking his meals, cleaning after him, and doing his laundry.
Although she doesn't know it herself, she actually has great magical powers, and could even aim to become a Magister Magi (great wizard). She is from Kyoto and speaks the Kyoto dialect.
Setsuna Sakurazaki
She is a swordsman of the Shinmei-ryu of Kyoto, and secretly serves as the bodyguard of her childhood friend, Konoka.
She usually calls Konoka "Ojousama," but when she's upset, she calls her "Kono-chan."
In addition to swordsmanship, she can also use Onmyodo magic such as simple barriers and substitution techniques using Shikigami.
